Who we are and what we do
Lighting Designer
After graduating in Architecture in 1999 from the Politecnico in Milan, he joined the lighting design studio Ferrara Palladino (former Studio LED), based in Milan, working as a Project Manager on a wide range of projects.
In 2011 he started a new activity as an independent lighting designer, focusing his skills on architectural and interior lighting design.
Since 2000 he has also been teaching lighting design at the Politecnico in Milan and in some different design schools in Milan, such as IED Istituto Europeo di Design.
In 2007, he founded Luxemozione.com the first Italian blog about lighting design topics.
In 2013, with other Italian lighting designers, he established the forum Italian Lighting Design Promotion Group, with over 4500 active members on Facebook, for raising awareness about lighting design topics.
Since 2014 he has been a Council Member of APIL – Associazione dei Professionisti dell’Illuminazione (Italian Association of Lighting Professionals).
He is the author of some articles published on lighting design magazines, such as Luce & Design and LED-in magazine.
Lighting Designer
He deals with lighting in order to achieve a successful design project in all environments where Light is fundamental. He works with architectural projects, interior and exterior, he is also a consultant for urban light planning for various cities and for entertainment, creating lighting scenography for events and performances.
He collaborated with Studio Ferrara Palladino lighting design studio, in Milan, focusing on lighting design projects and since 2007 he is the owner of his own lighting design studio.
Architect – Lighting Designer
Architect, independent Lighting Designer since 2005, promoter of the holistic approach within the lighting concept.
She deals with the enhancement of architectural heritage through light, starting from the analysis of natural lighting and history of the monument, integrating the lighting design with the architecture. He draws up innovative projects for hospitals and care centers, proposing the use of dynamic light and colored light with the aim of making the environment customizable and recognizable. In the lighting design for schools and offices, it combines functional needs, related to environmental comfort, allowing the client to obtain LEED and WELL certification.
In the urban environment she prefers the perception of space in its three-dimensional vision, going beyond the concepts related to energy saving, promoting a light identity, inclusive and dynamic.
She deals with didactics, the organization of workshops and seminars dedicated to light in its various forms. She has also collaborated with Politecnico di Torino University for the workshop “The Lighting Design”. Since 2020 she is author on the blog Luxemozione.
In 2016 she has been selected for the CODEGA PRIZE, for the lighting project of the “Primary School Dal Piaz” in Turin.
Associated APIL Italian Association of Lighting Professionals since 2017 and regional advisor AIDI – Italian Lighting Association since 2018. Since 2019 she takes part in the international project WIL -WOMEN IN LIGHTING.
